Emma Riley
Healthcare Services Director/
Dental Nurse Specialist.

Emma has over 25 years’ experience as a dental nurse and oral health educator and has spent the last 17 years working as a dental nurse specialist and oral health educator at The Pennine Acute Hospital Trust in Manchester. The last 7 of these years she worked as the Macmillan Oral Health Practitioner, the only role of its kind in the UK. During this time she has presented both nationally and internationally on the importance of oral health.

Emma continues to support the development of the Macmillan role, working on further training packages for Allied Health professionals on effective deliverance of oral health to compromised patients.

In November 2014 Emma was privileged to be invited to speak in Parliament at the launch of mouth cancer awareness and has since been awarded the outstanding contribution to dental nursing award.

Emma is currently the Educational Director at RIS products and The Chair of The Society of British Dental Nurses.




Amanda McLaughlin
Senior Training Manager/
Dental Nurse Specialist.

Amanda has 25 years experience as a Dental Nurse Specialist. She is also qualified in Dental Sedation Nursing and holds a qualification in Oral Health Education, and is registered with the General Dental Council. Her wealth of knowledge steams from working within the Community Dental services, assisting in the dental care of adults, children and special need patients. She spent 8 years working within a busy Maxillofacial Unit in The Pennine Acute Hospital Trust, caring for patients being treated for such things as trauma, oral surgery, implantlogy and ward visits to in patients, offering advice to staff and oral care for stroke patients and dementia sufferers. This unit also treated patients suffering from oral cancer. Amanda was a member of the Head and Neck MDT and gave advice to patients undergoing head and neck surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy on a nurse led clinic. She also worked closely with The Macmillan Oral Health Practitioner based in the unit.
When not working Amanda spends time with her family and her many pets.



Beverley Mason
Senior Healthcare Manager/
Dental Nurse Specialist.

Beverley is Dental Nurse Specialist with 26 years experience of which the last 22 years have been spent working on The Maxillofacial Unit at The Pennine Acute Hospital Trust. During this time she has worked in the Theatre environment and was the primary lead nurse in Dental Implantlogy. She has also supported many patients through their head and neck cancer treatment and is still involved with promoting Mouth Cancer Awareness and the charity which supports the patients suffering from this disease within the unit.

Beverley has also mentored many Nurses and Nursing Cadets during their time in the unit and she has found this very rewarding and received an award for “Best Mentor”.

Beverley spends her spare time socialising with her family and friends.



Neil Mackay
Sales Manager

Neil has over eighteen years experience in healthcare, medical devices and training. He has a vast knowledge of the NHS and the non-hospital environment from having worked for Bunzl Healthcare for over twelve years and most recently with a training academy for nurses and midwives. Neil has led and assisted on major projects within NHS Trusts for supply of services and products, presenting to all departments and ensuring those projects were completed on time and within budget. He prides himself in ensuring he gives the very highest level of customer service and believes very strongly that with better training, education and knowledge that vast improvements can be made in Oral Care.
